For the fourth consecutive year, Nike is paying a respectful tribute to Día De Muertos with a wide range of products and footwear. While the Air Max 1 seemed to be the first glimpse of the collection in August, it was actually dedicated to Hispanic Heritage Month. Returning to commemorate the official Day of the Dead this year is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, following its appearance in last year’s lineup. This sequel features a dark and burnished aesthetic, with smooth black leather that wears away to reveal accents of “Pale Ivory.” The shoe’s unique design includes floral-stamped vamps and an embroidered golden skull on the lower heel. Zoom Air tongue tabs stand out with contrasting white stitching, and the Formula 23-assisted midsole transitions from black at the toe to cream at the heel in a gradient fashion.
