In a revival that gained momentum in 2019, the Nike Dunk has seen a plethora of collaborative projects and general release colorways. While it initially dabbled in early Valentine’s Day themes, the Peter Moore-designed sneaker has since returned to its classic college-style origins, which made the low-top silhouette an icon.
Creating its own in-line collection that proudly showcases vintage varsity-style Nike logos, the latest lineup of Dunk Lows introduces a rich wine-red colorway. “Dark Team Red” takes center stage, covering the smooth leather overlays, laces, inner lining, and insoles, creating a familiar and striking color scheme. This crimson hue is complemented by crisp white accents on the base layer and midsole, intensifying the overall visual impact. Furthermore, the tricolor design is completed with contrasting jet-black elements, including the profile swooshes, heel tab, and the tread underfoot.
