Social Status initiated the Nike Mac Attack excitement with their “Silver Linings” release, introducing the concept through their new online short film series called “1st & 15th.” Following this, they brought the “Social Currency” release, which also featured premium materials, special project branding, and the unique tearaway upper design on the Swoosh and ankle collar. Now, the esteemed Whitaker Group retail institution is all set to launch the third installment in the series, known as “Split Vision.”
The “Split Vision” collaboration, presented in a grey-scale color palette, boasts premium leather and suede uppers in light smoke grey and dark smoke grey, with eye-catching yellow ochre accents on the laces. Like the previous drops, these shoes come with a tearaway satin layer on the Swoosh and ankle, unveiling a deeper shade of the neutral color. Special shoeboxes, interior packaging, and custom inserts are also part of this third release, with a fourth Mac Attack release on the horizon. Social Status also debuted the third episode of the “1st & 15th” series, directed by Loyd Visuals.
The “Split Vision” is officially scheduled for release on October 27th, with a price tag of $140. Sizes will range from Men’s 3.5/Women’s 5 to Men’s 16/Women’s 17.5. They will be available in-store at the three Whitaker Group retail locations—Social Status, A Ma Maniere, and APB Store—and exclusively online on the Social Status website. The collaboration will also be available on SNKRS.
