The brand’s Made In USA division has now crafted the fourth iteration of the iconic 990 model in the renowned Boston banner’s signature deep blue hue.
This dark and rich treatment has adorned the 990v4 on several occasions and is making a return as the primary offering for the autumn season, reminiscent of the 1990s racing aesthetics. The upper, from the mesh foundation, tongue, and inner lining to the high-quality pigskin suede overlays, is predominantly coated in a sleek “Navy” color. Bright blue underlays provide a striking contrast, while subtle “Silver” accents appear in the form of the iconic “N” logos on the sides, topmost eyelets, heel tab, and the ENCAP midsole. The addition of vibrant red NB branding at the heel and USA flag tongue tabs further enhances the American-made silhouette.
